In the forgotten country of Bongomia, the youngest and least loved royal--simply known by his title of "Prince"-- ascends the throne following the suspicious death of his father, King Thun. Arrogant, droll, and endlessly lucky, Prince navigates perpetual political turmoil, unfriendly neighboring kingdoms, dysfunctional family dynamics, and the looming threat of Hungarian invasion. Amid ever-shifting alliances that threaten the livelihood of their beloved country, Prince must find a way maintain his family's status--even though no one takes him seriously. A historical dramedy of errors, The Prince pokes fun at the scheming, yet always heartfelt misgivings of a wayward monarch.
